We are honored to welcome on October 1st and 2nd the CEOs of the leaders of Port Community Systems and founding members of the IPCSA (International Port Community Systems Association) on the occasion of the association’s executive committee.
As a reminder, SOGET and its German, Spanish, Belgian, British and Dutch counterparts founded the association in 2011 in Brussels. The IPCSA, which became international in 2014, now has more than 40 PCS operator members around the world.
The mission of the association is to promote the highest standards in PCS, to be the privileged interlocutor of international institutions and to defend the interests of its members. Through dedicated committees, the IPCSA also aims to get its members work together on common topics such as PCS research and innovation, cybersecurity, Customs issues or interconnections between PCS around the world.
This week’s Executive Committee is the occasion for the association to discuss future directions and prepare for its annual conference to be held on 24 and 26 October next in Trieste, Italy.
