On this occasion, we were honored to formalize a strategic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with our Canadian partner AIRUDI. Together, we will develop FluidiTower, a revolutionary platform designed to optimize port, airport and logistics operations worldwide.
We also had the honor of meeting HE Tô Lâm, General Secretary of the Communist Party and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This meeting strengthened a collaboration that began several years ago between SOGET and Vietnam. This partnership took shape when we welcomed students from Da Nang Polytechnic, followed by a strategic rapprochement at an economic event organized by Le Havre City Hall, which we attended in the presence of Mr. Édouard Philippe. More recently, we were honored to welcome a Vietnamese delegation to Le Havre. We would also like to underline the major role played by Valentine, our VIE, in the development of a Port Community System in Da Nang, as well as the exemplary work of the LOGI VIET teams, in collaboration with our teams in Le Havre, in developing our applications.
We are therefore proud to welcome HEM Tô Lâm’s proposal to elevate our relations to the rank of Global Strategic Partnership between France and Vietnam. France thus becomes the first European country to obtain this status, marking a decisive step in our bilateral relations.
Finally, at a round-table discussion last Friday, we discussed the future of logistics corridors, which are veritable catalysts for economic flows between French-speaking nations.
This rapprochement reinforces our ambition to actively contribute to the development of international trade.
