Julien Prével joined SOGET in 2005, after a career that began at Bolloré Logistics (now CEVA Logistics). Since his arrival, he has held various positions, including Sales Manager, Product Manager, and then Information Systems Manager, before becoming Head of Human Resources in 2016. A member of the Management Board since 2018, he has actively contributed to the reorganization of the company and the industrialization of software production within the Software Factory.
With a B.A. in Business Management from the University of Edinburgh and a DESS in International Trade and Marketing from the University of Le Havre Normandie, Julien Prével has demonstrated throughout his career an ability to navigate between strategic and operational responsibilities, with particular expertise in digital transformation and the optimization of internal processes. In his new role as CEO, Julien Prével will continue his commitment to the growth and internationalization of SOGET, while consolidating the teams and ensuring the continuity of operational excellence. This appointment is also part of a logic of continuity for the future of the company in an increasingly competitive and technological environment.
Hervé Cornède, his predecessor, said: “Julien has demonstrated a clear strategic vision and true leadership in recent years. We are convinced that he will be able to lead SOGET to new heights in this period of strong digital transformation.”
Julien Prével adds, “I am deeply proud of the trust placed in me today. I have accepted this appointment with humility and solemnity. I like to compare my history at SOGET to an ‘irrational love story’,” Julien Prével adds humorously. It’s a bit like one of those movies where a young man who starts out on the assembly line ends up as the boss of the company that hired him 20 years earlier. But this journey is above all the result of an adventure with an incredibly talented group of people, of which I am very proud.”
SOGET, a major player in the publication of software for the maritime and port sector, is thus continuing its development under strengthened management, with the clear ambition of meeting the challenges of innovation and growth in an international market.
