Jamaica PCS gearing up for Import with S)ONE

    SOGET and Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) launch the maritime import functionalities of S)ONE PCS. Since the first transhipment done last October 2016, 100% of Jamaica's vessel announcements and manifests are now processed by S)ONE PCS. CMA CGM MISSISSIPI was the first vessel involved on December 7th, 2017 in S)ONE PCS import formalities.

Meetings in Hamburg with HAROPA

    SOGET takes part to the business convention organized by HAROPA, the 5th European port complex, in Hamburg on 27th November 2017. This event, which brings together the port services and hinterland logistics stakeholders in Paris Rouen and Le Havre Ports, aims to promote the HAROPA offer towards Hamburg's operators. SOGET as an historical partner of HAROPA, will present the advantages that its Port Community System brings in terms of efficiency and safety for the passage of goods through the HAROPA multimodal and integrated corridor.

PMAESA members gather in Zambia

    On 22d and 23rd November, the annual meeting of the Port Management Association of East and South Africa (PMAESA) will take place on the theme " Raising the Profile of Landlinked Countries in the Logistics and Maritime Value Chains”. The conference will be held in Zambia, one of the most promising emerging countries in the South African region. Invited by the association, Yann Alix, General Delegate of the SEFACIL foundation, will share his expertise on " Port Community System for multimodal and cross-border initiative to enhance connectivity, fluidity and productivity for emerging land-linked countries”. The implementation of the Trade Single Window in the DRC will serve as a case study to illustrate how a PCS can support sub-regional trade integration.

IPCSA Annual Conference 2017

    The annual conference of the International Port Community Systems Association (IPCSA) will be held on November 23rd in Brussels. SOGET as a founding member, is supporting the actions of the association since its creation in 2011. The association has more than 40 members worldwide now. Pascal Ollivier, Director of Corporate Development and Chairman of the IPCSA's Research and Development Committee, will take part in this year's conference entitled "Globally Connected Logistics" covering topics such as digitization, trade facilitation and effective border management.

SOGET talks at the French Maritime Economy Forum

    The 13th edition of French Maritime Economy Forum will be held in Le Havre on 21st and 22d November 2017. This national event, organized by the French Maritime Cluster, brings together public and private stakeholders that makes the French maritime community. SOGET, representing the digital sector, provides its expertise on facilitating and securing digital exchanges. Pascal Ollivier, Director of Corporate Development at SOGET will speak this year on the “Innovation, the sea, our future” panel.
